Bipolar Disorder is a brain complaint that causes changes in a person's mood, energy, and capability to serve. People with bipolar complaint experience violent emotional countries that generally do during distinct ages of days to weeks, called mood occurrences. These mood occurrences are distributed as manic/ hypomanic (abnormally happy or perverse mood) or depressive (sad mood). People with bipolar complaint generally have ages of neutral mood as well. When treated, people with bipolar complaint can lead full and productive lives. People without bipolar complaint experience mood oscillations as well.   Suicide and self-harm are major health and societal issues worldwide, but the topmost burden of both behaviours occurs in low- income and middle- income countries. Although rates of self-murder are advanced in manly than in womanish individualities, tone- detriment is more common in womanish individualities. Rather than having a single cause, self-murder and tone- detriment are the result of a complex interplay of several factors that do throughout the life course, and vary by gender, age, race, and terrain. Several clinical and public health interventions show pledge, although our understanding of their effectiveness has largely began from high- income countries. Trying to prognosticate self-murder is doubtful to be helpful. Intervention and prevention must include both a clinical and community concentrate, and every health professional has a pivotal part to play

  The occurrence of reported suicide cases amongst young population in Society is alarming though many cases go unreported due socio-cultural stigma associated with suicidal act. It is worth noting that suicide in Kenya has become more rampant among the youth than adults and that the majority of reported suicide cases take place in high schools.   The aim of this study is to establish risk factors associated with suicidal ideation among youth in high schools. Methods:   Participants were 200 students drawn from high schools in Kenya. Methods: The participants consisted of male and female students selected through stratified random sampling. Mental disorders can affect women and men differently. Some disorders are more common in women such as depression and anxiety. There are also certain types of disorders that are unique to women. For example, some women may experience symptoms of mental disorders at times of hormone change, such as perinatal depression, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, and perimenopause-related depression. When it comes to other mental disorders such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, research has not found differences in the rates at which men and women experience these illnesses. But women may experience these illnesses differently – certain symptoms may be more common in women than in men, and the course of the illness can be affected by the sex of the individual.
